What is the investment for a custom brand?
How long does the process take?
Once you’ve agreed to the estimate and paid the deposit we will set up a timeline that works for both of us. However, usually from start to finish, the branding process will take approximately 2-3 weeks depending mostly on the amount of revisions and how promptly you provide information and answers. Do you offer printing services?
I do not. You will be responsible for making arrangements using the print-ready files I send to you. I am happy to recommend several quality printers and assist with printing recommendations.
When your project is complete I will provide you with all print files prepared as PDF’s ready for your printer. If you’d prefer we can communicate with the (local) printing company but you will be responsible for payment and pick up.
What file types will you give me?
Your branding set will include eps, jpg and png files. Possibly pdf as well if it is applicable to your project.

WordPress is the number one content management system in the world. Used by millions, it is a highly customizable platform that gives designers the power to create a truly custom site. It is also user and search engine optimized (SEO) friendly, interactive, vibrant and ultimately sells!
Do I need a hosting plan?
Yes, every website needs to be self-hosted. If you already own a domain, you can select a host to point your domain to. I recommend hosting with Bluehost or GoDaddy. I can help guide you if you have questions.
Do you offer ecommerce design?
Are you available to make updates to my website after it launches?
What are your business hours?
Studio hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 2pm (PST). If you need to speak with me outside of these hours please send an email and I will get back to you promptly.

Why do you require a contract?
All projects require a signed contract and deposit before work begins.
As I have said before communication is important to me and a contract outlines every detail clearly so that we both can proceed on the same page. Ultimately, I don’t want you to encounter any surprises but I need to run a business too. I believe the contract provides transparency for the expectations from both parties enabling a higher chance of success. The contract exists so that you and I both can agree, before the work begins, on what to expect from my services.
Are deposits refundable?
Please be aware that all deposits are nonrefundable. This is to ensure that you will have a spot in my queue and any other projects will be turned down because you have made a deposit. If you decide not to continue with the project before work has begun, you will not be billed for the remaining 50%.
Terms Of Service
Coastal Blue Media offers estimates ONLY. Billing will reflect the actual costs incurred. Proposals are valid for 30 days. Any desired changes expressed by the client to be made following the signing of the contract and the start of the project will be billed @ $75 an hour in addition to the contract price. A written notice of extra charges will be given to the client before the changes are applied. Client is responsible for ALL PROOFING.
Changes to work assignment: Client understands that the proposal is based on information the client has supplied. If adjustments are made in the assignment or if additional work is necessary because of unforeseen circumstances, a review and renegotiation will be expected.
Time Frame: Work is scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Expect delivery of the project within the agreed upon time of signed agreement, dependent on the client’s timely response to proofs.
Intellectual property: Coastal Blue Media will not use any photos, copyrighted material or any other type of intellectual property without a release from the owner. It is the client’s responsibility to obtain the release and/or only use original content.
Any additional purchases: such as images for website design or third party costs will be charged to the client at full price paid.
Projects begin upon receipt of a 50% non-refundable deposit and any required content provided by client is received. Billing will be every 30 days after the initial deposit or on pre-agreed milestone dates.
Payments: can be made with check, by eTransfer or through Paypal (service fees will be added to the total if using Paypal)
Remaining balances: will be expected immediately upon delivery of the finished project. The complete balance must be received before the final release of the finished files. A late fee will be added to the balance at 3% per month until the balance and late fee is paid.
Rush Services: a charge of 20% of the contract value will be applied to all Rushed Services.
Right to display: Coastal Blue Media (CBM) will keep projects confidential until publication. CBM reserves the right to display the finished project for promotional purposes.
